Louis XIV considered himself a absolute monarch by divine right, referred to himself the “sun king,” and is quoted as saying “I am the state.” In this documentary, The Court of Louis XIV – How to get Ahead, you will be exploring the French Baroque style in architecture and garden design – as well as the political situation of Louis XIV court. If you find any sections of the documentary distasteful, just skip them.
