Development of Spirituality and Religiousness
Research a scholarly journal article on spiritual development in children and adolescence. Provide a brief summary of the article. Use that information along with what you learned so far from your course readings to respond to the following:
Identify two cognitive-developmental approaches and discuss how they have shaped children’s perspectives about religion. Do you think these approaches would be relevant in shaping the religious perspectives of future generations? Why or why not?
Choose two stages of the human lifespan from adolescence to middle adulthood and share your insight into their importance in religious development.
Discuss some of the manifestations of the consequences of religiousness in adolescence and early adulthood. Explain how these consequences of religiousness manifest in terms of a spiritual experience.
