Ethics Challenge: You are the president of a firm that publishes textbooks for medical students in more than 30 languages. On a recent trip to a university in a developing country (with a GDP per capita of under $1,000 per year), you discover that students are using bound photocopies of your best-selling medical textbook. Speaking with several students, they inform you that if they were required to pay for the actual books, they could not afford medical school.
