Your assignment is research the child welfare literature and write a paper on an innovative child welfare program that advances social justice and is being used anywhere in the world. Examples of such programs are: innovative treatment foster care programs for traumatized children, specialized programs for newly emancipated teens who have been in the care of the state; prenatal and perinatal home visiting prevention programs, specialized drug treatment programs for new parents, American Indian child welfare programs that address historical trauma in families, innovative programs for Mexican immigrant families, etc. You may think of or discover other innovative program areas that are appropriate for this assignment.
