Chapter 10 provides quite a bit of information regarding the job application/interview process, but we all know that no two companies’ hiring processes are the same. There’s just not a magic formula.
After having read Chapter 10, think about a job application process that you’ve experienced. What does the company require from its applicants? Were you selected for an interview and/or hired? What was the process like? What would you suggest to any of your classmates who might want to work for this company?
You don’t have to name the company if you don’t wish to. Is anything in the chapter especially helpful? Likewise, is there anything in the chapter that you think is irrelevant or completely wrong when it comes to applying to work at this particular company? Explain why.
