An important part of lesson planning is differentiating activities based on individual students’ needs. In this assignment, you will revise the lesson plan you submitted in the last topic to more fully meet the needs of individual students described in the “Class Profile.”
Begin this assignment by reviewing the “Class Profile” and consider whether all students’ individual learning needs will be met in the activities and assessments described in the lesson plan you submitted in the last topic. In addition, review the feedback you received from your instructor on that lesson plan. Then, revise the lesson plan based on the following:
1. Incorporate the feedback you received from your instructor.
2. Select three students from the “Class Profile” whom you believe could benefit from differentiated activities and assessments. Research differentiated activities and assessments to meet the learning needs of those students. Pg 7
3. Design differentiated activities and assessments for those three students. Identify the students by name and write the differentiated activities and assessments in the respective “Differentiation” boxes on the lesson plan template.
In addition, submit a 250-500 word rationale explaining why you selected the activities and assessment modifications.
Use 2-3 resources to support your choices. Submit the lesson plan and the rationale as one document.
