Appropriating Concepts

Choose any concept you are familiar with from school and identify what you believe is the question that was used to generate the concept.  (1) What is the question behind the concept?  (2) Based upon what you have identified as the main question in part 1, what other related questions can you identify?  And, (3) what are some of the different ways that you could respond to each of these questions?  For the third part, provide multiple answers for each of your relevant questions. 

Hint: Start by providing a formal theory (explanation) for your concept.  Then, what would be the question that represents what you just explained?  This becomes your main question for your concept.
