In the Information Technology field, professional certifications help to demonstrate expertise to potential employers.
Our course materials align to the CompTIA Network+ certification. Other valuable networking certifications include Microsoft MCTS/MCITP variants, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, various CWNP wireless certifications, and Red Hat Certified Engineer. Other companies like VMware, Juniper, Alactel-Lucent, HP, and others also offer networking certifications.
Investigate several of these certifications. Consider the content that each includes and what level of expertise is required.
Identify two networking certifications that would be valuable for your career goals. One of these should be an initial certification which you could attain within the next 2 years.
