Optimal extraction rate

In relation to your project report you are simply estimating (making your best guess of) the optimal extraction rate. You then need to suggest market/government policies that will ensure people do the right thing so the optimal extraction rate does occur. (It is important that you use the template provided and consider the marking rubric for this assessment).
Information on all of this can be hard to find in the real world.

So please, where possible, make assumptions for growth rate etc., backed up by literature that you reference. For example, you may be able to find information online to estimate the rate of growth of Barramundi, the stock of fish in Tinaroo Dam and other information to estimate optimal extraction rate – you would then suggest a policy (market, government or a bit of both) to incentivize people to ensure the optimal extraction you estimated occurs (consider other dams and waterways and even other fist to arrive at this).

Please note that you will need to make assumptions in your report (assessment) about growth rate (g), rate of return (r), total quantity, etc…. Please simply justify or reference any assumption you make e.g., just assumptions with available technical reports/journal articles or other information you are able to find.
The following are simply examples that you may use (but please provide their reference if you do use them)
