The title of this course is Human Biological Evolution for a reason. To emphasize the role of evolutionary theory in our understanding of human biology and adaptation. This week your reading will consist of a brief survey of the early theorists who contributed to our understanding of the natural world as well as a brief introduction into how evolution works.
