You will be asked to identify one personal weakness that negatively impacts your performance and which you would like to improve. This could be in a specific area of athletic performance or any other performance area in your life.
The specific components of the paper will be as follows:
1. Describe the area of weakness in great detail
2. Discuss how this specific weakness negatively impacts your performance
3. Discuss three empirical research studies that address this specific weakness
3. Using the research and theories of sports psychology, describe in great detail how you will attack this problem and work to remedy it. This plan needs to be specific and must integrate a detailed plan of action supported by the literature. The paper must be a minimum of ten double-spaced pages. There should also be a reference page and that is not included in the ten pages.
