2. Once you have chosen an idea for change, use the information from your textbook, the online resource listed for each case, and your independent research to write an essay that includes the following:
A clear proposed systemic change to Texas government
An explanation of how this systemic change will make the government either more responsive to citizens’ needs or better equipped to address a challenge/problem in our society.
Explanation of how your proposal would impact both separation of powers and checks and balances.
Supporting evidence for both your proposed systemic change and discussion of impact on both separation of powers and checks and balances.

To cover all the required information, your paper should be about 3 pages in length, not including any bibliography/reference list.
