PSC 293: Race and the Law
Term Paper
Please choose one of the major cases (it still must be good law) that we have read during the course of the semester and explain your either think it was rightly OR wrongly decided. You can use materials from the course and any outside research to back up your contention that the case was either rightly or wrongly decided.
This paper should be 4-6 pages, double spaced with standard margins. You may use any recognized academic citation method. However, you must have a separate works cited page (this does not count towards the page limits). Papers should be properly proofread, and those with bad grammar (including those that do not use proper nouns correctly, will be penalized).
By April 15 (not March 15 as indicated in the syllabus), you will want to email me with the case you are thinking about so I can approve or disapprove of it (the reason is you may have chosen a case not eligible).
This will be due on UB Learns by the end of the day on May 3.
