Discuss the many economic and social reasons why Americans in the 1830s and 1840s turned to religion, revivalism, utopianism, and reform. {Use specific examples} Which approach do you think brought individuals the most satisfaction that they had effectively reshaped their world? Did any?
Please consider the following and incorporate into your discussion.
