By examining how a company’s environmental and social governance practices align with its stated mission, vision, and values, you can gain insight into its stance on key issues. Conversely, when a company’s decisions do not reflect its mission, vision, and values, it can be challenging to discern its position on environmental and social governance matters. evaluate your chosen company’s approach to decision-making and CSR practices.
Instructions
For this assignment, you will write a 2-3-page paper in which you:
- Explain how your selected company’s mission, vision, and values statement guide its business decisions. Be sure to provide specific examples in your response.
- Describe how the company’s mission, vision, and values connect to its CSR efforts in each of the following areas. Be sure to provide specific examples for each:
a. Empowering Workers
b. Labor and Human Rights
c. Health and Safety
d. The Environment
e. Accountability - Identify two critical external factors (e.g., technological advancements, regulatory changes, market dynamics, societal trends) that can affect the company’s success and describe how each factor influences the company’s decision-making, success, or ability to fulfill its mission, vision, and values.
Integrate at least two supporting resources, one from the textbook and the other from the Strayer University Library, or other reputable sources.
