3rd paragraph should include a description of your student engaging in a mathematics activity. Describe the activity, his or her performance, and ability. Describe Vygotsky’s theory related to the importance of self-regulation and evaluate whether or not your student is demonstrating self-regulation in the example of the activity you describe.
4th paragraph should focus on the metacognition skills of this student. After reading the posted article, how would you foster deep thinking and thinking about thinking skills that support learning. Make sure to properly cite the article using APA format for in-text citation, and again in a reference page at the end of your case study, when you submit your final copy. Describe an activity that you would design to advance these skills in your student, as evidence of metacognition in students is a clear indication that a student will achieve good grades, behave appropriately in class and reach his or her full academic potential.
