In the last federal election, 38% of voters in Poule-les-Écharmeaux in Quebec voted for NDP, 29% for Conservatives, 17% for Liberals, 11% for Bloc Quebecois, and 5% for Green Party. On March 25, 2019, a random sample of 100 Poule-les-Écharmeaux residents was selected, and they were asked what party they would vote for now. The results were: 35 would vote for NDP, 25 for Conservatives, 24 for Liberals, 13 for Bloc Quebecois, and 3 for Green Party. At 1% significance level, does it mean that the voters’ preference has significantly changed? Use Goodness-of-fit test and ? 2 distribution.
